This year's challenge was very exciting for me
because it allowed me to combine two of my passions, crochet and music. When
the topic was announced, I had no trouble choosing my topic: interpreting Moonlight Sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven. This
song has always been one of my favorite classical pieces. It is a hauntingly
beautiful piece; a contrast of light and dark, sorrow and hope. I tried to
combine all of those elements into my freeform submission.
