Georgia O'Keeffe is one of my favorite artists,
and I love her paintings of the red hills near Abiquiu, New Mexico. My senses
go wild with all the wonderful detail and color of the real hills that O'Keeffe
has reduced to their essence of red. My work reflects both the smoothed surface
of the paintings and the amazing detail of the real hills - all created including
my emotions that go along with both.
